RESIDÊNCIA CRUZADA / RÉSIDENCE CROISÉE / CROSS RESIDENCY

Porto (PT) / Clermont-Ferrand (FR) - 2016

Following the jury's deliberation composed of members of Maus Hábitos and Artistes en Résidence, the candidates selected to the Résidence Croisée between Porto and Clermont-Ferrand are: Luísa Abreu et Luc Avargues.

Maus Hábitos / Saco Azul Associação Cultural (Porto) & Artistes en Résidence (Clermont-Ferrand) offer​s a cross residency for two artists, one based in Porto and ​one in ​Clermont-Ferrand.

The residence of the Portuguese artist in Clermont-Ferrand is scheduled from 1 to 31 June 2016. The residence of the French artist in Porto is scheduled from 17 June to 17 July 2016.

Each artist accompanies his counterpart artist in order to facilitate exchanges and collaborations. As conclusion of the residency, artists are invited to create an exhibition that will take place from July 16 to August 14, 2016 at Maus Hábitos, in which artists will present the individual or collaborative work done during the period of residence.

Artists selected by Maus Hábitos / Saco Azul Cultural Association and Artistes en Résidence will benefit from:

- A round trip ticket

- A grant of 500 euros *

- A workspace and accommodation

- A final exhibition in Maus Hábitos

* In the case of the residence of the Portuguese artist in Clermont-Ferrand, the amount of the grant will be reimbursed according to the delivery of invoice of the material on behalf of the Association Saco Azul after purchasing or as a receipt presented by the artist)
